I Just Wanted Beer Money. It Turned Into A Way Off The Tools.
Carpenter for eight years, then I went FIFO. Underground as a nipper for about ten months. Brutal work. Got into the online thing on the side, honestly just chasing a bit of extra beer money at first.
Then it clicked. I put my head in the laptop around my swings, kept chipping away, and after one big month I walked off the mine for good. You get out what you put in. And I put the work in.
Now I'm full-time online, working from wherever, with time for fishing and the gym instead of writing my body off underground. I'm no expert, just further down the road than you. The training's exactly what got me here.
